CMLA Yatra 2020

with Swami Ishwarananda

Kailash-Manasarovar-Everest Base Camp

Om Namah Shivaya!

Ready for a 20/20 view of the goal of our existence?

CMLA is pleased to announce the sacred pilgrimage to the abode of Lord Shiva

-the majestic, powerful, magical, mystical Mount Kailash,

the dwelling of Maa Parvati at Lake Manasarovar

and the foothills of the tallest mountain in the world – Everest Base Camp

in June 2020 under the esteemed tutelage of Swami Ishwarananda.

Mount Kailash Parikrama with Charan Sparsh ** Lake Manasarovar ** Everest Base Camp

June 28 – July 16, 2020

Prepare to be spellbound by a yatra that will take you to the epitome of life’s goal (Purusha) and the quintessence of material world (Prakrti). The 19-day yatra will start from Kathmandu to Lhasa (capital city of Tibet, popularly known as ‘The Roof of the World’) and thereafter explore the alluring and fascinating open scenic vistas of Tibetan plateaus and the great Yarlung Tsangpo River Valley enroute to the holy Lake Manasarovar at the base of Mount Kailash. After taking a dip in Lake Manasarovar and performing elaborate Shiva puja at its shores, we will trek and do the parikrama around Mt. Kailash, stopping enroute to do Charan Sparsh – touching the foothill of the mountain symbolic of touching the feet of the Lord. After completing the parikarma, we will drive to Everest Base Camp (EBC) which affords sweeping views of the world’s highest peak. While only a few skilled men and women summit Everest each year, we will be amongst the choicest to visit Everest Base Camp to catch an up-close glimpse of tallest mountain in the world. Thereafter, catch the Himalayan mountain range up-close while taking the helicopter ride back to Kathmandu.
